Either unwilling or unable to betray a sense of professionalism, Food People's music is marked by ramshackle jams, broken gear, unexpected movements from cacophony to lyricism and an immediate rawness. Lila, Greg and Matthew were dear friends long before they formed a band; their music is both a result and an expression of the collective joy that their sporadic get-togethers bring about.
